Abstract:By introducing the concept of strictly asymptotically quasipseudocontractive mappings, the stability of the Ishikawa iterative processer for asymptotically nonexpansive mappings in the intermediate sense and strictly asymptotically quasipseudocontractive mappings in arbitrary real Banach spaces were investigated. Our results improved and extended the recent corresponding results.
