Abstract:Plant Design Management System (PDMS), published by AVEVA company, is a threedimensional (3D) modeling software based on multiprofessional collaboration. PDMS can directly generate labelled professional diagrams. We use programmable macro language (PML) to secondarily develop PDMS software. It provides a number of extended functions for offshore platform of cable laying and arrangement. It improves the integrality of offshore oil platform model design.
