Abstract:Port-wine stain is the most common vascular malformation and the incidence is about 0.3% to 0.5% in the infants. So far the international gold standard for PWS treatment is pulsed dye laser. In this paper, several ongoing trials on treating vascular malformation were introduced, including photodynamic therapy, angiogenesis inhibitors, site -specific pharmaco-laser therapy and hypobaric pressure therapy.
