With the model the density wave oscillation of supercritical water flowing in heated pipes was studied, and the stability maps were constructed. The sensitivity studies of system inlet and outlet orifice coefficients, system pressure drop, etc., were carried out. The results show that larger inlet orifice coefficients can improve the system stability, but larger outlet orifice coefficients can degrade the system stability. Increasing the system pressure drop can also be beneficial to the system stability.
