This method takes the design parameters as the updating objects, moreover, it does not need matching the frequency response functions of the finite element model and the experiment and only a few measured data are needed to fulfill model updating. The model updating of a plane truss structure shows that the proposed method can get the perfect results under disturb of noise which proves the validity of the method.
