Grid-Based Crashworthiness CAE System and Its Application

Abstract:Numerical analysis method has been the principal means for vehicle crashworthiness research in recent years. Based on grid technology and numerical analysis techniques, this paper proposed a grid middleware and a 4-layer grid architecture for vehicle crashworthiness study. The methodology for collaborative simulation and distributed data mining was also investigated. On the basis of the above achievements, a collaborative simulation system for crashworthiness simulation and data mining was developed. The system was further applied in a specific project rooted in vehicle industry and yielded a good result. This system proved to be effective development tools for the web-based automotive design, optimization of matching design.
