Straightening of Cylindrical Components by Transverse Rolling with Smooth Plates

The straightening of low-rigidity cylindrical components by transverse rolling with smooth plates is considered. The influence of absolute reduction after straightening on the following parameters of the products is studied: the linearity and diametric precision of the product; and the microstructure, hardness, and hardened depth of the strengthened part.
